Every month on Rent Day (the 1st), Bilt Rewards offers bonus transfer rates when you move your Bilt points to an airline or hotel partner. These bonuses can significantly increase the value of your points — but understanding how they work is key to making the most of them.
Rent Day is Bilt’s monthly event on the 1st of each month. On this day, Bilt members earn extra points on dining and other categories, and — most importantly for point maximizers — transfer bonuses to a featured airline or hotel partner go live.
Each month, Bilt announces a new transfer partner with bonus rates. The partner and bonus percentages change monthly, so the value of transferring varies from month to month.
Bilt has four membership tiers: Blue, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Your tier determines the size of your transfer bonus:
These percentages aren’t fixed — they vary by partner and month. For example, March 2025’s Hilton promotion offered 150% for Blue and 200% for Gold and Platinum, which was exceptionally generous.
Most Bilt transfer partners have a 1:1 base ratio — meaning 1,000 Bilt points become 1,000 partner miles before any bonus. However, some partners like Accor Live Limitless (ALL) use a different ratio (3:2, or about 0.667:1). The bonus percentage is applied after the base ratio.
The most important rule: only transfer when you have a specific redemption in mind. Points sitting in an airline program lose flexibility. Transfer during Rent Day promotions when the bonus makes your target redemption significantly cheaper in points.
Starting in January 2026, Bilt introduced “Bilt Cash” — a purchasable upgrade that bumps your tier bonus up by one level. For example, a Gold member who buys Bilt Cash would receive the Platinum-level bonus. Platinum members get an even higher “Super Bonus” rate.
